Summer?

It has rained practically every day for the last week. I am a little tired of it. Despite the lovely weather t-ball season is rapidly approaching. As in games start next Monday! Since I volunteered to coach this year I scheduled for our team to practice twice this week. Our first one was today. Who knew teaching 4 & 5 year olds which direction to run after hitting the ball would be so hard? Most of them just wanted to chase the ball. We have one more practice this week and hopefully things will sink in between now and then. Thank heavens for parents that are willing to help. I only had six of fourteen kids today and could barely keep them all straight. I am scared to have all them together at once. You can go here if you want to see a few pics. We were supposed to practice in my backyard but since we've had so much stinkin' rain I opted to use the church parking lot across the street. I did have fun and I hope the kids did too. Since that is what is most important.

:) They will catch on, besides, it's more for the fun of getting together and for us parents to just enjoy their innocence! I want to know how you get your links to like to a word? Can't figure that one out?

Well, I am glad to hear other people are having crazy practices too! I saw you all out there, but I couldn't tell that was what you were doing. So much fun. Good luck, I am sure we will need it.

You have been doing a fabulous job of coaching. Thank goodness for you. There is no way Nat and I could have done it. I promise that we can pick up the slack next year! The kids did a fantastic job at the game Monday. I couldn't believe how well they were doing!
