I have jumped on the coupon bandwagon! I have tried off and onthrough the years to shop with coupons but I could never get it to work super well and I never seemed to have the right coupons. Recently a friend introduced me to www.pinchingyourpennies.com. They take most of the work out of it by doing the research and telling you where to shop and what coupon to use. It is now an addiction and is much like a game.
Yesterday I shopped this weeks Albertson's sale. I spent $67.31 and saved $234.61 by combining the Preferred savings with coupons I had printed or clipped. This is what I came away with
14 cake mixes
12 tubs of frosting
12 cans of Progresso Soup
5 boxes of cereal
22 boxes of fruit snacks
24 cans of refrigerator biscuits
2 bottles of laundry detergent
4 cans refrigerator crescents
4 cans refrigerator cinnamon rolls
I wish I had a picture of all this food but it did fill up some of my food storage shelves quite nicely. Amazingly enough I got it all put away. :)

Thanks for sharing Arin, I am going to try it out!
I just started getting the newspaper (this week) so I can do the coupon thing too--I hope I'm as successful at it as you!!
I was just telling Steve that I needed to go there, I think I'll try it tomorrow some time or maybe next week but I really want to go.
WHOA!!!!! All for 67 dollars??? Arin! You rock!!!!
You and Heidi are the supreme masters of the coupon. I signed up for the pinching your pennies thing, but haven't gone back yet...I need to work on that.
That is amazing. I really want to learn how to do this. Do you order 5 newspapers, or is it something different?
22 boxes of fruit snacks?? That would normally cost $67.31 all by itself! How amazing! I need to get into this...
Oh my gosh, you have converted me to the fabulousness of coupons
Thanks for the tip, I to have never been able to get the whole coupon thing down. Seriously amazing shopping skills!
Arin--Loved this sale!! Isn't couponing the best!!--Heather C.
