Look out Kindergarten, Here she comes!

Since Nat stole my Fiddler on the Roof idea I will just be boring and tell you all about Ila's first day of school!

My little girl went to her very first day of Kindergarten today! She was so excited. She picked her outfit out nearly two weeks ago. We were shopping and when she tried on this dress she asked if she could wear it on the first day of school! She looked so cute and despite how sad I was to see her growing up before my very eyes I didn't even cry!
The plan was for her to ride with Jakob to school but she woke up and the first thing she said to me was "Mom I changed my mind, I want you to take me to school." I was so happy that she really wanted me to take her. Then, when Jakob came over to get her she changed her mind again. She ended up riding with Jakob. :(
When she came home I could not get her to tell me what she did in school, only that she forgot to leave her paper bags with her teacher. She had so much fun and I know that she will do great the rest of the school year.
It is so hard to believe that she is this old. I remember my first day of Kindergarten, certainly I can't be old enough to have a Kindergartener of my own. Before too long she will be driving and dating and, well that is enough worrying for now. One step at a time.

She looks so cute Arin, it doesn't seem like just the other day she was in my sunbeam class. They grow up so fast!! And what a big girl going on her first day with out you.

Great minds think alike! I wanted to do "Fiddler on the Roof" for Jake's birthday, and scan in some pics from when he was little, but since I haven't been able to hook up my scanner yet that didn't happen.

By the way, I'm super jealous of your gorgeous flowers. Mine from last year didn't even come up at all this year. Grr.
