Cows Stink!!

The other day we went to the dairy farm. Ila's preschool group was having an outing. It was a beautiful day and all but cows smell funny! The first thing Ila said was "Mommy it STINKS!!" Unfortunately the dairy doesn't give tours to children younger than first grade. (Dumb if you ask me, but no one did) So, we had to give ourselves a tour. We started by looking at the big cows. (These are the ones that stink)








Then we moved on to look at the calves. They all have their own separate little "homes". These ones the kids could pet if they wanted too. Of course Ila is scared of even the smallest dog so there was no way that she was even going to get close. Duder on the other hand was having a grand old time. And loved looking at the calves.









After playing with the calves we saw the room they milk them in. (Sorry I didn't get a good pic) Then we had a little picnic and splurged on cheese curds and home made ice cream. (YUMMY!) Needless to say we had lots of fun!
