What a strange day!

Have you ever had one of those days where you don't want to do anything but lay in bed? Not necesarily because you don't feel well but just because? That is the kind of day I was having yesterday. But I had to drag myself into the shower, then right back into my jammies. I did manage to feed my children, and even clothe them. Later in the day I had to take Ila to dance class, she was much more excited than I was. Somehow I mustered the energy to mop my kitchen and do ALL the dishes.

My cutest husband suggested that we have leftovers for dinner, seeing as how our refrigerator was overflowing with them. I welcomed the suggestion. Fewer dishes and NO COOKING! Then after dinner he says, "I feel like we should go somewhere." He never wants to go anywhere and didn't he know I was having one of THOSE days?

Needless to say we went to the mall. I did afterall need a new bra. He decided to take the kids to the little play area to spare himself the embarassment of being in VS with two children waiting for his wife to decide what she wanted. (He didn't used to even go in the store. He will now at least do that, but not if he has to spend any amount of time.) They didn't have what I wanted in the color and size I needed so our trip to the mall was a bust. SORT OF!

I located my family and was sitting with Jaren watching the kids play and this guy kept looking at us funny. He finally comes over and says, "I finally figured out how I know you." Reaches his hand out to shake mine and it dawns on me who it is. Jaren and I went to school in Twin Falls with him an eternity ago. I haven't seen him in 9 years. It was crazy. So we played catch up for a minute and then he, his wife, and their five year old went on their way, and we went ours.

What a strange day!
